Meteorites Le meteoriti sono il residuo di corpi extraterrestri che riescono a superare la barriera atmosferica e giungere sulla terra. Ogni meteorite è contraddistinta con un nome, generalmente il nome della località ove è stata trovata. Tutti i frammenti di una pioggia rappresentano una meteorite. Probabilmente esse derivano da sciami di corpi solidi di tutte le dimensioni in prevalenza in orbita, nella fascia degli Asteroidi, tra Marte e Giove.
Meteorites are the residue of extraterrestrial bodies that manage to overcome the atmospheric barrier and reach the earth. Each meteorite is marked with a name, generally the name of the place where it was found. All fragments of a shower represent a meteorite. They probably derive from swarms of solid bodies of all sizes mainly in orbit, in the asteroid belt, between Mars and Jupiter.
